About this role
The team is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer & Designer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites specifically tailored for schools and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to meet the unique needs of various institutions.
- Create and optimize landing pages for admissions, events, webinars, and lead generation campaigns.
- Ensure that all websites are mobile responsive and optimized for fast page load speeds across all devices.
- Maintain brand consistency and enhance user experience in accordance with UX/UI best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective web solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development and design is required.
