About this role
The team is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Core Engineering team in Bengaluru. This team is responsible for building and operating the platforms, applications, data solutions, models, and analytics that support critical processes across various divisions of the firm, including Risk, Controllers, Compliance, and Corporate Treasury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
- Analyze and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant software development experience in a professional environment.
