About this role
The team is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and optimizing in-application SQL statements while ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL statements for various applications.
- Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Prepare documentation and specifications for database solutions.
- Profile server resource usage and optimize as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including reporting tools.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms such as MicroStrategy.
- Create tools to streamline data processes and enhance data accessibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with BI tools and data analytics platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
