About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and optimizing SQL statements within applications, ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Prepare documentation and specifications for database processes.
- Profile server resource usage, optimizing and tweaking as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to align technical specifications with business needs.
- Design, build, and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including reporting tools.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms, such as MicroStrategy.
- Create tools to streamline data processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with BI solutions and data analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in SQL development and database management.
