About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Shopify Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. This role involves owning the development and optimization of Shopify-based commerce experiences, with a strong emphasis on React and UI/frontend development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Shopify commerce experiences to enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain and improve existing Shopify applications and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify and frontend technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Shopify development and customization.
- Strong experience with React and frontend technologies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Shopify development and frontend engineering.
