The team is seeking a Shopfloor Apps Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join their innovative team focused on advancing sustainability in manufacturing processes. This role involves developing and implementing applications that enhance manufacturing operations and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain shopfloor applications to support manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address manufacturing process challenges.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize production workflows.
- Ensure integration of applications with existing manufacturing systems and technologies.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on new applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and shopfloor automation technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
