About this role
The team is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and optimizing in-application SQL statements to ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Prepare documentation and specifications for database systems.
- Profile server resource usage and optimize as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including reporting tools.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms, such as MicroStrategy.
- Create tools to streamline data processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SQL development and optimization.
- Proficient in database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with BI tools and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
