The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Mentor to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will guide and support learners through real-world engineering challenges, helping them to develop their technical decision-making skills and advance their software engineering careers. This position emphasizes structured mentorship rather than traditional tutoring or coding instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor learners through practical engineering experiences and contextual guidance.
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions and provide insights into real-world software development practices.
- Assist learners in navigating technical challenges and making informed decisions.

- Collaborate with other mentors to refine mentorship strategies and improve learner outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with frameworks and tools relevant to software engineering, such as React, Node.js, or AWS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed in their careers.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software engineering or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
