About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Electronic Trading team in Pune. This role involves working on the Equity Request for Quote (RFQE) platform, which is the largest of its kind globally, facilitating trades between buy-side and sell-side institutions across various equity markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform features and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the trading platform.
- Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing.
- Stay updated with market trends and technologies to ensure the platform remains competitive.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with electronic trading systems and financial markets.
- Familiarity with technologies related to real-time data processing and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, particularly in electronic trading or financial technology.
