About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer for a lead role within their development team. This position is focused on creating highly customized Shopify storefronts utilizing headless Shopify and Shopify Plus, while leveraging your expertise in back-end development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain custom Shopify storefronts using headless Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Develop and integrate with Shopify’s API for advanced customization features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices in coding and development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify applications and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Shopify development, including headless architecture.
- Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and PHP or Next.js with Node.js.
- In-depth understanding of Shopify’s API and customization capabilities.
- Experience in leading projects and mentoring team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Shopify development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
