The team is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (SDET) to lead testing strategy, develop automation solutions, and ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, automation leadership, cross-team collaboration, and quality advocacy. The SDET will play a critical role in advancing modern quality engineering practices, including shift-left testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Advocate for quality best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing, with a focus on automation.
