About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Security Engineer to help strengthen the security of their products and services throughout the entire software development lifecycle. This role will play a critical hands-on role in defining and implementing product security strategies, embedding security into engineering practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security strategies for products and services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for development teams.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in the FinTech industry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in product security, with a focus on software development.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in product security engineering.
