About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering automation software that enhances the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset.
- Design, architect, and build self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring, and alerting platforms and tools.
- Automate development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Docker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
