About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and data integration, with a focus on leveraging cloud technologies to drive data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement data warehousing solutions using GCP and Google BigQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot data processes to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation of data architecture and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Data Integration projects.
- Expert knowledge of data warehousing concepts, strategies, and tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Proficient in GCP services including Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, and GCS.
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus.
