About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join their team in Gurgaon. This hybrid role requires a hands-on professional who can build scalable data pipelines, perform data transformations, and develop reusable data-platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, from development to deployment.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle large datasets.
- Optimize data processing and storage solutions on GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure data quality and reliability through testing and validation processes.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot data-related issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience: 5-8 years in data engineering or a related field.
