The team is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that support cross-border payment solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing services and develop new features that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development, preferably in the fintech or payment processing industry.
