About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend services and APIs.
- Implement and manage databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Work with asynchronous programming to enhance application responsiveness.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with NestJS or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in backend development.
