About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and framework design, contributing to the quality and reliability of software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation frameworks using POM, hybrid, or data-driven approaches.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and TestNG.
- Collaborate with development teams on code reviews and source control using Git.
- Utilize BDD frameworks, such as Cucumber/Gherkin or SpecFlow, to enhance testing processes.
- Conduct thorough REST API testing with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Rest Assured.
- Analyze and interpret JSON and XML data formats for effective testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and TestNG.
- Proficient in Git-based source control and code review practices.
- Experience with BDD frameworks and REST API automation.
- Solid understanding of JSON and XML.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years and up to 6 years in software testing and automation.
