The team is a pioneering Space-Tech startup focused on developing the world's first Multi-Sensor Earth Observation Satellite, integrating SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and MSI (Multi-Spectral Imaging) technologies. As they advance towards building a constellation of indigenous satellites, they are also creating sophisticated data platforms that combine satellite data, AI analytics, and geospatial intelligence.
We are seeking a Product QA Engineer who will be responsible for structured testing and validation of satellite data products. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of the data generated by our advanced satellite systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for satellite data products, focusing on SAR and MSI data validation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Perform systematic testing and validation of data outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Document testing processes and results, providing clear reports on product quality.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for QA in satellite technology.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or satellite technology.
- Strong understanding of SAR and MSI technologies and their applications.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
