The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (P5) to join their innovative team. This role is pivotal in transforming the vehicle lifecycle into a connected digital experience, while also providing solutions to protect homes and digital identities. The Principal Software Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to maintain code quality.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Expertise in web technologies including React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant software engineering experience, with a focus on leadership roles.
