About this role
The team is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Agile methodology and all scrum ceremonies.
- Execute the Performance Testing Life Cycle (PTLC) from requirement analysis to reporting walkthrough.
- Learn and implement new tools and technologies relevant to performance testing.
- Provide regular test status updates to stakeholders.
- Own peer reviews and conduct demos of testing results.
- Interact with clients and other stakeholders as required to gather requirements and feedback.
- Define test plans, identify strategies, and provide estimations for testing efforts.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate different test phases effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Solid understanding of Agile practices and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in performance testing or a related field.
