About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Operation Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting and cloud technologies, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes.
- Manage and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Implement CI/CD concepts to streamline software delivery.
- Administer and support AWS Cloud Platform services.
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server for database management and execute basic SQL queries.
- Provide administration for Linux, UNIX, Windows, and AIX operating systems.
- Collaborate with development teams using Git or other version control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with strong analytical skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PowerShell scripting and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platform and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with various operating systems including Linux, UNIX, Windows, and AIX.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in an operations engineering role or similar environment.
