About this role
The team is seeking a Manual Tester with hands-on experience in API Testing and SQL to join their QA team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the software testing life cycle, excellent analytical skills, and experience collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Report and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in reviews of requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manual testing, with a focus on API testing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
