About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various Linux operating systems, including NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and other immutable OS platforms. This role involves deploying, configuring, and supporting enterprise Linux servers across both production and non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Linux-based networking and security services.
- Implement and manage Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Utilize nf tables or IP tables for firewall solutions.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and configuration management using Ansible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems (NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, etc.).
- Experience with firewall management using nf tables or IP tables.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with Ansible.
- Familiarity with enterprise server deployment and configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Linux engineering or administration.
