About this role
The team is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic team focused on AI transformation for governments and multilaterals across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. This role involves developing innovative solutions that leverage AI to create impactful applications in health, education, and agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and ship mobile applications designed for low connectivity environments, ensuring offline-first sync and local storage capabilities.
- Implement conflict resolution strategies for data synchronization in mobile apps.
- Develop and maintain backend services that support mobile applications, utilizing containerization technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance for both frontend and backend components.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience with backend frameworks and languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience in building and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in full stack development, particularly in mobile application development and backend services.
