About this role
The team is seeking an Engineering Manager for Mobile/Flutter to lead and manage their Flutter development team. In this role, you will set the technical direction and execution strategy while driving the adoption of AI-enabled coding assistants to optimize development workflows and accelerate delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Flutter development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Set technical direction and execution strategy for mobile application development.
- Drive the adoption and integration of AI-enabled coding assistants like Cursor.io, Copilot, and ChatGPT.
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality applications.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Flutter applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Define and implement coding standards and best practices to enhance team productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Flutter development and mobile application architecture.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing technical teams.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled coding tools and their integration into development workflows.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
