About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team in building the data infrastructure that powers modern healthcare. You will play a crucial role in solving the challenges of fragmented and outdated provider data, which contributes to unnecessary administrative work and regulatory risks in healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the API-first platform that automates provider licensing, enrollment, credentialing, and network monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with API development and integration, particularly in healthcare or related fields.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
