About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager specializing in AI & ML to lead innovative projects within the insurance sector. This role involves defining and owning the AI/ML vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the digital strategy of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and implementation of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI solutions across core business functions.
- Spearheading use cases such as intelligent claims adjudication, fraud analytics, predictive underwriting, pricing optimization, risk scoring, and customer lifetime value modeling.
- Developing virtual assistants and generative AI applications to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions effectively.
- Mentoring and guiding a team of engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in AI/ML technologies and frameworks, including but not limited to TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Strong background in software engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and its specific challenges is a plus.
Experience required: 8-10 years in AI/ML engineering and leadership roles.
