The team is seeking a skilled Engineer II - Quality Assurance to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within the airline industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
