Director of DevOps, SRE & Infrastructure

The team is seeking a Director of DevOps, SRE & Infrastructure to lead their technical operations in Ahmedabad. This role is pivotal in driving the strategy and execution of DevOps practices, ensuring the reliability and scalability of infrastructure, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and infrastructure management.
• Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively manage system health.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Manage incident response and post-mortem processes to ensure continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
