The team is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead their technology initiatives within the Experiences Technology division in Bangalore. This senior role is responsible for overseeing the full-stack, end-to-end platforms and services that enhance immersive digital and physical guest experiences across various venues including theme parks, resorts, and cruises. The ideal candidate will ensure that these systems are scalable, secure, and uphold the high standards expected by guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Oversee the development and implementation of robust software solutions that enhance guest experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in software development.
- Drive continuous improvement in software engineering processes and methodologies.
- Act as the primary technology leader on-site, representing the Experiences Technology division in Bangalore.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles, with a strong background in full-stack development.
- Expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
