About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevSecOps professional to enhance their security posture and ensure compliance with various regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security and experience with AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Maintain audit trails using AWS CloudTrail and Bitbucket Activity Logs.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments on AWS resources using tools like AWS Inspector, Nessus, or Qualys.
- Conduct penetration testing (VAPT) and hardening assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Apply AWS best practices to secure services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
- Implement encryption in transit and at rest to protect sensitive data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS security tools and services.
- Proficient in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
- Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines in a security context.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles, with a focus on cloud security.
