The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in MSSQL Server and MongoDB to join their team in Gurgaon. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and optimize database systems effectively in a rotational 24/7 onsite work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB, both standalone and in clusters.
- Handle database provisioning, upgrades, patching, and migrations efficiently.
- Manage both on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure SQL and MongoDB Atlas.
- Optimize SQL queries and performance tuning for enhanced database efficiency.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database-related needs and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in database provisioning, upgrades, and migrations.
- Familiarity with cloud database services, particularly Azure SQL and MongoDB Atlas.
- Excellent performance tuning and optimization skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration.
