About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer II with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join their team in Gurgaon. This role requires a hands-on approach to building scalable data pipelines, transformations, and reusable data-platform capabilities. You will be responsible for taking solutions from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support, ensuring the creation of reliable and reusable data engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement data transformations and integrate data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
