The team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in data build tools, specifically dbt Cloud and Apache Airflow, to join their team in Gurgaon. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data transformation and orchestration solutions. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with GCP BigQuery and a solid understanding of the Financial Services domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data transformation workflows using dbt Cloud.
- Develop and manage data orchestration pipelines using Apache Airflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Optimize data processing performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt Cloud and Apache Airflow.
- Proficient in GCP BigQuery and SQL.
- Experience in the Financial Services domain is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
