About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to source, extract, and manipulate large data sets to support the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence needs of their organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure the data platform meets business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize existing infrastructure to assemble large, complex data sets.
- Perform extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of sources.
- Collaborate with architects, solution leads, data owners, and Data Scientists to facilitate and coordinate the data platform backlog.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
