The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a globally recognized leader in their industry, supporting their strategic initiatives by leveraging data to drive business growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
