About this role
The team is seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to oversee and enhance their cloud infrastructure and operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based solutions that support financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- Monitor cloud performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices.
- Manage incident response and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud operations, with expertise in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
