About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in UPS and Data Center Battery systems. This role is crucial for the design and validation of high voltage Lithium-Ion battery systems used in high-capacity UPS and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The position is based in Gurgaon and will report to the R&D department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate high voltage Lithium-Ion battery systems for UPS applications ranging from 75KVA to 1 MVA.
- Conduct sizing calculations for Lithium Battery systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve battery management systems.
- Participate in the design and testing phases to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for battery systems in the field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BE/B. Tech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in battery systems, particularly in UPS and data center applications.
- Strong understanding of Lithium-Ion battery technology and its applications.
- Experience with sizing and validation processes for high-capacity systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
