About this role
The team is seeking an experienced API Automation Tester to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Java. You will also be responsible for developing and executing API test scripts and automation suites utilizing frameworks such as Cucumber and Karate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation frameworks for API testing.
- Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the quality of APIs.
- Implement and support Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices in testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to identify test requirements.
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, providing detailed defect reports.
- Participate in Agile development environments and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Java and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in API testing tools such as Cucumber and Karate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in API automation testing.
