About this role
The team is seeking an Analog EDA Backend Lead to join their central EDA organization. This role is pivotal in developing, deploying, and supporting EDA methodologies, tools, flows, and solutions for various global business units. The EDA solutions cater to different domains of integrated circuit (IC) development, including both IP and SoC development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of EDA tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define differentiated solutions.
- Develop in-house tools and flows to enhance EDA capabilities.
- Support Analog and Embedded business groups across multiple sites worldwide.
- Drive continuous improvement in EDA processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in EDA tools and methodologies, particularly in Analog and Embedded systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Tcl.
- Strong understanding of IC design processes and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in EDA or IC development.
