About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Analog EDA Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing, deploying, and supporting EDA methodologies, tools, flows, and solutions for various business units. You will work across different domains of integrated circuit (IC) development, including IP and SoC development, while providing support to all Analog and Embedded business groups globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop in-house tools, flows, and methodologies to enhance existing EDA solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of EDA methodologies.
- Support the deployment of EDA tools and solutions across worldwide sites.
- Analyze and optimize current EDA processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams in the use of EDA tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Analog EDA, IC design, or a related area.
- Proficiency in EDA tools and methodologies, with a strong understanding of IC development processes.
- Experience with tool development and scripting languages such as Python or Tcl.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
