About this role
We are seeking a highly qualified z/OS Network Systems Administrator to join the team’s support technology team. This is a remote, full-time position aimed at candidates based in India. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in supporting IBM z/OS networking and mainframe systems administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for z/OS networking and mainframe systems.
- Manage connectivity, file transfer, messaging, and network operations.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of network systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues.
- Document network configurations and maintain operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with IBM z/OS and mainframe systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and file transfer methods.
- Proficient in troubleshooting network issues and system performance.
- Familiarity with messaging systems and network operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in z/OS network administration.
