About this role
The team is seeking a ClickHouse Certified Database Engineer with hands-on experience in ClickHouse, distributed OLAP systems, database optimization, and large-scale data processing. This is a remote position with a shift aligned to European timings, and we prefer candidates who can join immediately or on short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize ClickHouse databases and MergeTree tables.
- Perform SQL query and database performance optimization.
- Build and maintain Kafka-to-ClickHouse pipelines.
- Work with replication and sharding for scalable database environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ClickHouse clusters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on ClickHouse experience.
- ClickHouse Certified Developer / Database Professional certification preferred.
- Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
- Experience with MergeTree, Kafka, replication, and sharding.
- Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana.
Good to Have:
- Experience with DBT / Data Pipelines.
- DevOps / Cloud exposure.
- Real-time analytics experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in database engineering and optimization.
