About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in SAP Archiving to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing and configuring SAP data archiving objects and working closely with customers to define effective data archiving strategies. The successful candidate will conduct workshops with clients to educate and guide them on data archiving best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SAP data archiving objects across various modules including FI, CO, SD, MM, QM, and PP.
- Collaborate with customers to establish and implement data archiving strategies.
- Conduct workshops to inform and train clients on data archiving processes.
- Manage several archiving objects and ensure their effective operation.
- Utilize SAP DVM and SAP ILM for data management.
- Perform DART extractions and validate views for financial data.
- Analyze database tables using tools such as TAANA, DB02, and DB15.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with SAP data archiving and data management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP DVM and SAP ILM.
- Proficiency in DART extractions and financial data validation.
- Familiarity with analyzing tables through TAANA, DB02, and DB15.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP archiving and data management roles.
