About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web and Windows desktop applications using Playwright, TypeScript, and Appium within a unified automation framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for various applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and Appium.
- Proficiency in developing automated tests for both web and desktop applications.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in automation testing.
