About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Windows Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server and VMWare, particularly in environments utilizing HP and Dell servers. This role will focus on data center operations, with a significant emphasis on Active Directory and SCCM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services.
- Implement patch management using SCCM to maintain system security and compliance.
- Collaborate with teams to support VMware ESX and VCenter operations.
- Utilize ITIL framework principles to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Engage in automation tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform as needed.
- Provide support for Citrix and Entra ID solutions when applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and VMWare technologies.
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot Windows OS and related services.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure roles and services is advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in a similar role, with a focus on Windows environments and data center operations.
