About this role
The team is seeking a detail-oriented Shopify-focused Web Developer with hands-on experience in building and scaling D2C e-commerce websites, preferably in luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating seamless, high-converting storefronts with a strong emphasis on user experience, performance, and brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates to meet client specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and functional storefronts.
- Optimize website performance and ensure a smooth user experience across all devices.
- Integrate third-party applications and payment gateways to enhance e-commerce functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in e-commerce and Shopify developments to implement best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Shopify development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
- Strong understanding of user experience and conversion rate optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in web development, specifically with Shopify and e-commerce platforms.
