About this role
The team is seeking a VP of Technology Operations with a strong background in software development to lead their technology initiatives. This is a remote position that reports directly to the COO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing technology operations and driving software development projects to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technology operations and software development teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement technology strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of technology advancements.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of technology initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior technology operations role, preferably in software development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with modern technologies and tools relevant to software development.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in technology operations and software development.
