VP – Technology Operations (Cyber Security / SOC)

The team is seeking a VP of Technology Operations specializing in Cyber Security and Security Operations Center (SOC) to join their remote team. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the technology operations related to cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technology operations team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the security posture of the organization.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in SOC processes and technologies.
• Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of security operations and report to the COO.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a technology operations leadership role, specifically in cyber security and SOC environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in technology operations, with a focus on cyber security.
